the three dimensions of environmental justice
Like the three pillars, the three dimensions of environmental justice are a framework for understanding sustainability as addressing all stakeholders. The three dimensions see environmental justice through a lens that allows for more cultural and societal awareness, fostering inclusivity by encouraging people to think about which groups have power and which groups are marginalized when discussing and enforcing sustainability.
Distribution
Ensuring that all people have access to environmental resources such as clean air, energy, and land.
Participation
Each person should have the opportunity to take part in making decisions about climate and the environment.
recognition
It is necessary to make sure that all groups are recognized so that they may participate.
